Running Stronger is dedicated to getting runners and triathletes stronger, faster and over coming injuries.

Regardless if you are competing to a high level or are a recreational runner, we will support you to develop the strength to train hard and race faster and reduce the risk of injury.

Weekly strength and conditioning sessions are structured around your specific needs and goals based on an initial assessment, identifying any areas of weakness, biomechanical issues or known injury history. Sessions can be provided Face to Face in our private studio in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire or remotely through our On-Line Zoom sessions. 

As a UKA Endurance Coach, Strength & Conditioning Coach and competitive athlete, Mike Chambers understands the need to balance strength work within a wider training plan and ensures that the load and stimulus is always appropriate to not impact the need to train and race.

Mike has been the lead Strength and Conditioning Coach and Sports Massage Therapist on elite warm weather training camps in Europe and coaches athletes across the UK.

Strength programmes are specific to the needs of runners and triathletes and focused on developing key muscle groups and movement patterns relevant to the sport. Sessions also include mobility and stretching exercises.

Mike still competes as an athlete for Winchester & District Athletics Club on the track and road. As a junior athlete he held national and county titles over 800m and has been ranked in the UK top 20 for veteran 40 age group runners over middle distance events.
